Priority Travel News: Snowstorm slows travel in Washington state

SEATTLE — A snowstorm brought whiteout conditions to parts of eastern Washington, causing power outages and closing a major highway in the Palouse.
Light snow and black ice slowed the commute Tuesday morning in the Seattle area.
Avista Utilities officials reported more than 3,400 homes and businesses in and around Pullman and neighboring Moscow, Idaho, lost power at the height of the storm late Monday night.
