Several hundred people failed to reach Moscow this weekend as the Russian New year's holiday drew to a close. About 40 Russia-bound flights were delayed in Bulgaria, France and Italy. Heavy fog closed all of Bulgaria's airports for three days. On Sunday evening, 200 of the 400 Russian passengers stranded in Sofia were still waiting for flights home.When KrasAir planes were rerouted from French flights to pick up tourists in Bulgaria, 300 Russians in Grenoble who were supposed to fly to Moscow late Saturday night were left stranded without explanation.
