More Airline Problems For Passengers

American Airlines canceled five flights that were to leave John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Thursday as a result of a glitch that delayed at least 1,000 pieces of luggage, an airline spokeswoman said.
The software glitch caused a conveyor belt problem in the airline's bag room Wednesday, airline officials said. That prevented the airline from getting passenger's luggage onto their flights.
