D/FW Airport CEO defends travel policies

Dallas - The chief executive of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport defended the airport's travel policies Tuesday, but he said staff and board members should do a better job of documenting their travel expenses.
Reacting to negative television stories about staff and board travel, chief executive Jeff Fegan said the frequent trips through the U.S. and other countries are necessary to attract airlines to offer service to D/FW or to conduct the airport's business.
"This is not the time to hide in the bunker," Mr. Fegan said. "This is the time to really get out there and target the airlines that we believe that have capability of flying nonstop to D/FW Airport." More... Discount Magazine Subscriptions - Discount Cigarettes & Tobacco - Nutty News
